Family Reunion

This past week A LOT of my mother-in-law's family was in town - 16 of them (if I counted right)! Some from Colorado and some from California. It was pretty crazy, especially when Scott's sister's family was over there and we were over there, too. At times there were around 25 people in the house. It's a really good thing Scott's parents bought a big house when they moved out here!
Scott wasn't around much since it was the week before school started for him and he had teacher meetings and 2-a-days for football. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but because of budget cuts he had Friday off as a furlough day, so he got to spend that day with his family, except for football practice.
We didn't do much except hang out at the lake, but I think we all had a good time and we were all exhausted by the time the week was over!

It was grandma Marlene's birthday when everyone was out visiting and we had leftover sparklers from 4th of July so they put a sparkler in her cake instead of a candle. The next day was Scott's uncle Larry's birthday, and they put a roman candle in his cake!

Everyone visiting while the smoke cleared after singing "Happy Birthday!"
