Just a quick update as to what's going on with our day-to-day out here in Georgia. School starts SO EARLY here. August 10th was the first day of school, which is crazy, because to me, that's still the middle of summer. Now that everyone here is back at school, I feel like summer is over, but we were still back at the lake last weekend dodging thunderstorms!
Ella moved up to the Pre-2 class at daycare ~ they have 3 "pre" classes, Pre-1, Pre-2, and Pre-3, before Pre-K at her daycare, and she'll go to the official "Georgia Pre-K" next August when she is 4. It's kind of confusing to me, but they have it all figured out. I know she misses her favorite teacher Ms. Shari and her friends Kelsey and Shelbi, but there are more girls in the new class and she likes the teacher because she calls Ella "Cinderella!"
She is also back in gymnastics and still loves it, and we are going to sign her up for dance this fall ~ a combo ballet/tap class. It should be quite a sight! She is really excited, she has been wanting to take dance for the past year, but I couldn't sign her up until she was 3!
Scott has his own classroom at school this year, so he doesn't have to lug all of his stuff around moving from room to room. It's nice that he got a lot of the stuff he had in his classroom in CA out of the garage/basement. He has been busy as ever with football practice. I think they have a good group of guys this year and they are really hoping to make the playoffs. I posted their schedule on the right side of the site and will keep it updated each week with the scores. Hopefully there will be more winning weeks than losing ones!
We are excited for football season. There is always a big crowd, and the coaches' wives/families all sit together and cheer on the team during the games. We love the team spirit!
