Road Trip to Chicago - PART 2

The next stop on our trip was my dad's side of the family, which included my cousin Tina's baby shower and a trip to Brookfield Zoo. We also finally introduced my dad to Giordano's stuffed pizza and he got to have his Home Run Inn pizza, too. He actually ate pizza 3 days in a row while we were in Illinois (and he got White Castle, too)!

After the baby shower. My Aunt Irene, my cousins Tina & Teri, Teri's daughter Chloe, and you can see Ella decided to join in the picture, too...

Chloe is only about a month older than Ella. Once they got to know each other a bit and Chloe had time to warm up to Ella they had a good time together!

After the baby shower all three kids played in the pool in the backyard at my Aunt Irene & Uncle Ray's house. Ella & Connor got soaked and Chloe never even got her hair wet!

My cousin Tina and her husband Jason just bought a new (very old ) house really close to the zoo, so on Monday we went to the zoo and then checked out the house. It has some really amazing detail work that you just can't find with a new house. I hope they get the baby's room done before he/she arrives! :)
