Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a pretty low-key Valentine's Day here, but Ella is really hung up on singing "Happy Birthday" to everyone, even when it's not their birthday, so we tried to get her into Valentine's Day to get her to move on from birthdays. I dressed her in Valentine's attire all week for daycare and we put together goody bags for her Valentine's party. We got her a little book and wrapped it up as her Valentine's present. She is now singing "Happy Valentine's Day" to the tune of "Happy Birthday"! Here are a couple of photos of her the day of the Valentine's party at school. There is a before shot, and an after - in the after photo she has the box she made and all of the valentines she received inside.

I made Scott scallops for dinner, since that is one of his favorite things to eat, and he brought me roses. Ella picked out pink ones for me. The roses were a big deal, because I think the last time he brought me flowers was when I was pregnant! I hope you all had a Happy Valentine's Day - We love you!
