Ella, Scott and Grandma at one of the "touch tanks" Jellyfish

Scott had a baseball game that night but they lost. By the way, the weather was in the upper 40's on Monday... not very spring-like. I think the baseball team was probably freezing!
Tuesday - APRIL 7th - It SNOWED. Notice that it is April. Freezing cold. Around 40 degrees if we were lucky! We did some errands and stuff around the house. We mostly tried to stay warm. We had snow flurries off and on all day, and it got down to the 20's Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.
Here is a photo of our snow - in April!

Scott had another baseball game that night - lost again, I think the kids were still freezing. This game was a make-up from all of the games that have been rained out since we have had so much rain already this spring. Rain is good for the lake, but bad for baseball season!
Wednesday - It finally started warming up. Ella and I had some shopping to do. We went down to the mall to get a present for her friend's birthday party that is next weekend, and a present for our friend back in California whose wife just had a baby.
Thursday - Stone Mountain. This was another site-seeing trip. Last time we were there our niece Erin was a baby, and she is 5 now! It was the 3 of us, my parents, and Scott's parents. We went to the top of the "mountain," went on the train, walked around the plantation, and stayed for the laser show. It was a long day, but fun.

Friday - Let the Easter festivities begin! Ella and I made Easter Egg Cookies and she colored Easter Eggs. I frosted the cookies and she put the sprinkles on. She did much better with the eggs than I thought she would. What a difference a year makes. Last year was a mess. (I know - she was only 21 months old!) all of the eggs ended up blue because she kept re-dipping them. This year she actually let me help her and we have good looking eggs. I am really proud of her.

Then the weather turned ugly Friday night - tornado warning and all. We ended up in the basement for around 45 minutes or so with some really bad storms. Luckily everyone was okay, and Ella doesn't mind thunder and lightening at all!
